Hi everybody! Welcome! My name is Phoenix and today I’m going to be talking about the movie called, The Black Panther. So overall I thought this movie was, not excellent, not okay, but pretty good.

The reasons why I did not like this movie as much was because it had a little bit of bad language, and it was a little bit scary, but this movie was also pretty sad. The reasons that I did like this movie, was because we got to see a lot of cool special effects and scenery and how The Black Panther became The Black Panther, and how he became the king of Wakanda. I also liked all the fighting scenes and action parts.

The movie starts out in the past, where Black Panther’s dad is doing some things that will help you understand the rest of the movie later on. But then it refers back to the present, where Black Panther is in this flying ship thing, and he magically jumps down and lands on earth, and he’s trying to find these bad guys who took these people hostage. So when he finds these bad guys, he kicks serious butt.

Okay, I almost forgot, this is also in the past… So it was where a bunch of Africans were together and they all had different beliefs and cultures, and they didn’t like that. So they started fighting each other. Until, one tribe, The Black Panther Tribe, was like, “You know, I wanna stop fighting, cause, I don’t like this.” So they built their home, and they didn’t want it to get destroyed, so they put a huge invisible force field over it. It’s kind of like in Wonder Woman, with the Amazons, and their place. They had a big force field over it so no one could see it. It’s like this. And so, this other culture was like, “You know, we kind of wanna do the same thing.” This was like, the monkey culture, so they were like, “Only we don’t wanna have a force field over ours. We want the people to see what we have done… our religious culture.” So then they built their home in the mountains. So that’s pretty much all the background you need to know.

Now, going back to the present, Black Panther saves all the hostages and brings them back to Wakanda. And we get to see how cool that place is. And then we get introduced to Black Panther’s new suit. And he gets to pick out his own suit, which I think is really cool. And his new suit is amazing.

So then we meet the two main bad guys. The main main bad guy is the outsider king. The second bad guy is actually Gollum from the movie, The Lord Of The Rings. Except, there’s a little bit of difference. In this movie he looks really good and healthy. But in the other, Lord Of The Rings, Gollum, he doesn’t look so good. But then the second difference, which I think is kind of weird, in this movie he talks like, “Ha ha ha, I am super cool because I have a robot arm, ha ha ha.” But in Lord Of The Rings he’s like, “What’s taters precious?” And so I think it’s really cool because I think he’s a really good actor. He can change his voice very well.

And then we go to this casino with a bar in it, and that’s where we meet Bilbo Baggins. Well, it’s not actually Bilbo Baggins. It’s just the same actor who plays Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit movies. Except, in this movie he’s a lot taller and skinnier, like a normal person. And in The Hobbit movies he’s really short and a little bit fat. So I think he must be a really good actor too. So the casino scene was the start of one of the best action scene fights ever! So, it was when Gollum and these bad guys brought really big guns with them because they were trying to get these crystals from Bilbo Baggins. But, Black Panther, his girlfriend, and one of his best soldiers were there. Soooo, they’re going to stop Gollum from getting those crystals. And then, it turned into a fight. A really cool one because there was a lot of kickin butt goin around. And then they got into these cars and it was like a wild goose chase. Because it was really cool…

… So the good guys ended up catching Gollum to get answers out of him. But apparently, the Outsider King came to break him out of jail. And I don’t want to tell you too much more because I’m afraid I’m going to give some stuff away, but I can tell you this… this movie was action packed. Another part that I really liked in this movie was where the girls kicked serious butt. And I love it when girls kick serious butt. Like Wonder Woman, and the new Star Wars Movies.

So my grandma took me to see this movie and she normally hates superhero movies but she loved this one. I would not take your little little kids to see this movie because it’s a little bit scary, it has a little bit of bad language, and this movie is pretty sad. So for those reasons I would not give it an excellent, I would just give it a pretty good. So that’s the end of my review for the movie called, Black Panther. Thank you for watching.
