Hi everybody! Welcome! My name is Phoenix and today I’m going to be talking about the movie called Independence Day. This movie actually came out before I was even born. And my daddy wanted me to watch this movie so then we could watch the sequel together.

In this movie there was a lot and a lot of aliens. But they weren’t good aliens like the aliens from ET, Star Wars, or Home. But these aliens in this movie were very very bad aliens cause they kept on killing people in this movie. Even though a lot of people died in this movie, I still liked it because it had a lot of cool kicking butt and a lot of cool action parts and a lot of cool aliens and all that. And the reasons why I liked it is because there were funny people in this movie. And I didn’t even know there were going to be funny people in this movie. And here are some of the funny people that I’m going to talk to you about in just a little second. But all of these funny people that I like are boys because there wasn’t that many girls in this movie. The first person that I really liked… and you probably already know him from Jurassic Park. The second one is Mr. President. It’s not Barak Obama but he’s just like a fake President. And we call him Mr. President because that’s his name in this movie. And the third one is this pilot guy that was from Men In Black. And that’s another alien show that he’s in. And that’s why he’s in these two shows because he really likes alien movies.

I’m going to tell you what happens in this movie and my dad said it’s ok for me to give the spoilers because almost everyone has seen this movie except for me. And why do I have to be the last at everything? Even at school, I’m last in line, I’m last at recess, I’m last at getting a drink at the water fountain. Like, what’s up with that?

The big alien ship flies across the moon and it sees Earth. And it sends all these little ships all around Earth and into Earth. And they keep on blowing up things. And the people want to shoot at them but they can’t because it’s protected by forest field. And that’s including the mother ship. And so then this guy from Jurassic Park, the smart guy in this movie, gets to the bottom of this. He starts figuring out things. Then he meets up with this other guy from Men In Black and he’s really smart and he’s a pilot. And then they find this big alien ship from this other alien and then they start getting into that and start figuring out how to control it and they do. And then they fly it into the big mother ship. And they were thinking, “Oh, that’s one of our friendly alien ships coming back from destroying the Earth.” But they really aren’t. They’re actually humans. And so then, the alien wonders, cause they were trying to get out of this thing before they could get hit… But then they send a virus, a cold. And then the mother ship forest fields start to go down. And if the mother ship’s forest fields go down then the other ships will. So then the people keep on shooting and it works. It really works. And all these pilot friends come in and start shooting the big ships to help the people from Earth. And then all the ships go down. And that means that the good guys one, which is really good cause we want that to happen.

Oh, I forgot one last thing. Mr. President, I didn’t even know he was going to do this but he actually did and I thought it was really cool. He flew up with the pilots and he was kicking really serious butt up there. He was doing really good. He was really cool. And I thought he was going to die but he didn’t. He really didn’t. He actually survived, which is really cool.

Overall I thought this movie was pretty good. It had a lot of cool aliens. A lot of cool action parts. And some of the alien parts I had to cover my eyes on because they were kind of gross. And I will warn you, there is a lot of bad language in this movie. So if your kids are not responsible enough please do not let them watch this movie. But if your kids are responsible I guess you can let them watch. But this movie is really good. I liked it and I think you guys will too.
